Sudoku Slate is a number puzzle game with four difficulties, a daily challenge and a journey of levels to work through. It runs entirely on your phone, with no account and no connection needed.
Every puzzle has exactly one solution, and every one can be finished by reasoning alone. You will never need to guess. That is checked by proof before a puzzle is ever shown to you, which is not something most sudoku apps can say.
No ads while you play. The board and the finish screen never show one.

HOW DIFFICULTY WORKS
Most sudoku apps grade puzzles by clue count, which correlates badly: a 26-clue puzzle can fall out to simple scanning while a 30-clue one needs an x-wing. Sudoku Slate grades by the hardest technique a puzzle actually requires. Easy and Medium need singles, pairs and pointing pairs. Hard and Expert need more.
ABOUT ADS
There is one banner, and it appears on the menu, statistics and settings screens only. Video ads are optional and only ever offered if you run out of coins for a hint — never played automatically, never between puzzles, and never required to continue. There are no full-screen ads anywhere in this app.
If you would rather have none at all, a one-off purchase removes the banner. It removes ads and nothing else: coins, hints, the daily challenge, journey mode and every achievement stay exactly as they are for free players.
